Description
This is a very good/near mint condition vinyl record album, a 1977 release on the private indie Travelers Productions label jazz-funk ensemble the Billy Marcus Quartet, “Last Ride on the Bus: From the Travelers Lounge.”
6 tracks of their funky, improvisational sounds, including songs like “Street Beater,” “Fly With the Wind,” and “Red Blouse.”

From a fan site, “Jazz pianist, Billy Marcus, began his professional career in 1970 in the Boston Cape Cod area of Massachusetts where he also worked with the late great Bobby Hackett. In 1974, Marcus moved to Miami where he formed his own quartets and quintets. He did regularly scheduled live radio broadcasts television, and all of Miami and South Florida’s major festivals. “

Cover in vg+ condition - slight ring at top on front, some moisture rippling in bottom right corner, back cover has moisture rippling lower third.
Vinyl in m-/vg+ condition - two-inch sleeve scuff on side one.
