Description

Here are two 1947 78rpm discs pressed by Paramount Radio Recordings, which were sent out to radio stations to promote the new Bing Crosby musical, Welcome Stranger, also starring Joan Caulfield and Barry Fitzgerald. These discs are from the early days of the radio DJ, when stations began often playing records rather than hosting live performances. There are instructions on the labels for the announcer to credit the movie when playing the particular song.

Both discs are in Excellent condition, with some scuffs but no real damage. They are shiny and play clearly and beautifully with no groove wear or scratches. The titles are:

Disc 1 - As Long as I am Dreaming / Smile Right Back at the Sun

Disc 2 - Make Mine Country Style / My Heart is a Hobo
