Description
Beautiful copy of the 1960 mono pressing of Bing’s classic Merry Christmas LP on Decca DL-8128. The classic of all classic Christmas albums ever… one of the biggest selling records of any kind from its original release in 1943. This copy is in the original mono, and the sound is just beautiful. WAY better sound than on the later reprocessed stereo versions, which is the only way you can hear it now, without finding an original vintage mono copy, like this one. The disc is just beautiful as well, with barely the tiniest signs of use. Just about a perfect disc, and it plays flawlessly. The cover has a 5” seam split at the top and a 3” split at the bottom, but otherwise is quite nice with only light signs of use and age. Really a top mono copy, hard to beat.
