Description
This Auction is for:
ARTIST: Bing Crosby
TITLE: Songs By George Gershwin
LABEL/NUMBER: Decca 78 RPM Album A-702
YEAR: 1949
TRACKS: Please see scans.
DISC CONDITION: I would grade all 4 of the discs as Near Mint except that Side 7 has a “chip” out of the lead-in area that may make starting the record difficult. The chip covers a portion of the lead-in area and one of the two lead-in grooves. There is much shine – the discs should play very well.
COVER CONDITION: The book style Album Cover is VG+ or better with no splits to the Inner Sleeves, a solid spine, and very minor shelf and storage wear to the edges/corners of the Covers.
“BONUS” INVENTORY TAG: This album includes an Inventory Tag from the original dealer, Hart’s Record Shop, of St. Paul, MN. The Tag includes the Album # “702” and the date received, 3/19/49. It also notes the “Decca” name and an Inventory #, 601676, an interesting bit of provenance.
DETAILS: This album will be carefully packed for shipment. See my feedback for Buyer testimony relative to my packing abilities.
FOREIGN BIDDERS: Please refer to the information regarding shipping at the end of the Auction Description!
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY!
PAYMENT:
I only accept payment through PayPal, unless you have made other arrangements with me prior to bidding.
Payment should be made promptly on “Buy It Now” items and should be made soon after your receipt of an Invoice following the end of a regular Auction. However, see below if you are buying more than one item.
SHIPPING:
Domestic (USA) bidders: I will combine items purchased within one week for shipping savings. In the event you are bidding on more than one item or plan to do a “Buy It Now” on more than one item, please click on “Add To Cart” and do not pay for any items until I have sent you a combined Invoice for all of your purchases. Letting me know the reason for any delay would be appreciated.
Foreign bidders: I’m sorry, but eBay’s present “Global Shipping Program" rules do not provide for combined shipping. If you want to buy more than 1 similar item, message me with specifics and I will list them together as a “Buy It Now” and alert you so you can then complete the transaction and all similar items can be invoiced and shipped together.
