ITEM:  RARE  - BIT A SWEET,   "Hypnotic"  vinyl LP Record Album ( NOT A CD ). Original WHITE LABEL PROMO - ABC Records Deep Groove Pressing. Matrix Stamper numbers: ABC 640 A1;  ABC 640 B1. Catalog number ABC - 640.

COMMENTS/CONDITION:   This record would be fine for someone who has never heard the band, and has been searching for a good "listening copy", or a collector who needs a filler copy until a reasonably priced, better copy becomes available.

 The cover is in good, solid conditionVG/VG+.  There are no cut-out holes, clipped corners, split seams, missing pieces, water damage, or stains. There are light scuffs and shelf wear/chipping to the edges. On the back cover is a stamp in ink of "WVHC MUSIC DEPARTMENT, Hofstra University", and an id number written in ink.

Both labels are in very good condition with no tears, peeling edges, or stains.  The Side B label has the Hofstra University name and address stamped on the top of the label.

The inner sleeve is a generic white paper, it is not the original studio sleeve.

The vinyl is VG- condition. There are no warps, cracks, or excessive groove wear, and the vinyl retains much of it's original gloss. There are numerous scuffs and surface scratches that affect the playback. Playback on my older system ( with very light stylus pressure setting ), produced good sound quality. Side B had occasional audible tics and skipped in 2 spots. Side A had more frequent audible tics, and there are two deeper scratches that produced repeated louder ( but not explosive ) pops, and several skips, especially noticeable on on track 3 ( If I Needed Someone ),  track 4 ( With Love ), and extending into track 5 ( Monday-Tuesday ).

Please note that because of the imperfections present, this LP is being sold in "As-Is" condition. This sale will be final with no returns or exchanges.

So far in 2011, there have been several auction sales of this LP, ranging in price from $50.00 to $180.00, in various conditions. To compensate for the flaws mentioned above, I have listed this LP at a very low starting bid with NO RESERVE.
