Description

ARTIST AND ISSUE DETAILS: Bix Beiderbecke with Paul Whiteman's Orchestra play 'My Pet' on a single sided shellac Victor Test Pressing of master 43662-1 (the alternate take not issued until 1935). I suspect that this was pressed in 1935 from the second master by Victor engineers to ascertain its suitability for issue in the Bix Memorial Album. Condition is Near Mint and the reverse has a lovely 'Spider's Web' Victor backing plate!
