- The Carmen Suites are two suites of orchestral music drawn from the music of Georges Bizet's 1875 opera Carmen and compiled posthumously by his friend Ernest Guiraud.
- They adhere very closely to Bizet's orchestration.
- Guiraud also wrote the recitatives for Carmen, and compiled the second of the two suites from Bizet's L'Arlesienne incidental music.

- 1939 plain brown, large heavy cardboard booklet has minimal marks, except for very minor wrinkling on the front cover and some very minor discoloration on the inside covers and sleeves.
- Booklet is literally in EXCELLENT to NEAR MINT CONDITION.
- Both 78 RPM records look virtually unplayed with no discernible age marks or surface scratches.
- Blue labels have no spindle marks.
