  Click here to listen to a SOUND CLIP   This is the original Indian 45 that contains the song that the BLACK EYED PEAS covered for DON’T PHUNK WITH MY HEART. Listen to the sample & you will recognize the driving drum-tabla beat and the full refrain of the song.

The best thing is that this track is not only the basis for the Black Eyed Peas’ hit, but of one of the best BOLLYWOOD FUNK tracks around including a frantic SITAR that BEP forgot to pick up in their version!  Sung by queen of the Bollywood nightclub song Asha Boshle.

It is from a early 70s very obscure Bollywood 70’s film, only released on 45. This one is the SP instead of the EP. The EP contains four songs, the SP only 2 songs, so whole of side B is the BEP song. Much rarer than the EP.   This version is not faded out at the end but ends in a break. In amazing NM condition.
