CHESS LABEL 1970 ORIGINAL FIRST US PRESSING WITH SINGLE SLEEVE IN ALL ROUND EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Released in 1970 and from my late father's collection I am offering today this excellent 1970 Debut album by US Detroit funk band BLACK MERDA titled simply 'BLACK MERDA'.
This is an original 1970 first US pressing of BLACK MERDA's superb debut album which was recorded in Chicago, on the first press CHESS label & first press single sleeve. The band had been playing together for nine years before they recorded this classic debut album.
For anyone interested in bidding, this LP is in all round EXCELLENT condition, I have just played it through and it plays nicely with absolutely no sticks or skips etc but there is some light static to be heard during quieter areas.
The US printed single sleeve is very clean but does display some discolouration, and some corner wear. Otherwise it is clean with fully legible spine text, and free from any splits or tears etc.
Tracks on this album are PROPHET - THINK OF ME - CINTHY RUTH - OVER AND OVER - ASHAMED -REALITY - WINDSONG - GOOD LUCK - THAT'S THE WAY IT GOES - I DON'T WANT TO DIE.
The VINYL, The Vinyl visually and audibly is in excellent condition, I have just played it through for these listing purposes and it plays nicely with absolutely no loud pops or sticks & skips etc but I noticed some light static during the quieter parts which may go with a good clean.
The SLEEVE, The single sleeve is very clean but is showing some discolouration and some corner wear, otherwise this is a nice example with fully legible spine text.
The LABELS, The first pressing Chess labels are very clean, showing no spindle traces, Needless to say they are free from unwanted writing or stickers etc.
The INNER, The generic white inner is clean with no splits etc.
I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc.
