BLACK SABBATH
1st Album
Large Swirl VERTIGO label
VO6
Black inner gatefold sleeve, with "Dunbar" credit for Warning,
and Composer / Publisher credits on cross.
The vinyl looks in pretty good shape with only minor marks.
It sounds nice, with the inevitable odd sporadic 'pop' & 'click''
but it does have a few problems.
Side One plays really well, though there is surface crackle at start of
first track, accompanied by a light click for the first 30 seconds.
However it is not too intrusive, and it soon settles down to give a really
good listen.
Side 2 is a similar tale to side 1, with some crackle at the start, and a few
light clicks at start of track 2, but otherwise a great trouble
free listen.
The gatefold sleeve is in pretty good condition, displaying the expected wear
and tear after 42 years of handling.
There is some paper loss on the front top right corner (see photo).
Minor wear to bottom edge but spine very good. Pretty clean, and no splits or tears.
No writing on sleeve (or labels).
Inside of gatefold in lovely condition.
Not mint by any means, but a nice listenable album.
Additional info. Inside cover, Ozzy misspelt as "OSSIE"
