On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Black Sabbath called 'Black Sabbath' and is a 1970 MEGA rare UK 'Earliest' 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Large' Vertigo 'Spiral' label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AS A GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  ONLY A TINY HANDFUL OF 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS WERE EVER PRESSED LIKE THIS - AND WITH THESE IMPORTANT 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DIFFERENCES THIS HAS TO BE THE RAREST BLACK SABBATH LP EVER PRESSED!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN THE IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES BELOW:

FIRSTLY THIS LP HAS A 'LARGE' SPIRAL VERTIGO LOGO ON THE RECORD LABELS WITH THE WORD 'VERTIGO' PRINTED AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH LABEL (WHEREAS ALL LATER PRESSINGS HAVE A 'SMALLER' SPIRAL VERTIGO LOGO AND THE WORD VERTIGO PRINTED ABOVE THE CENTRE HOLE)!!!!  SECONDLY THIS LP HAS 'A PHILIPS RECORD PRODUCT' PRINTED AT THE VERY BOTTOM OF THE LABEL - AND THIS ONLY EVER APPEARED ON A TINY HANDFUL OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS ONLY - AND WAS ALMOST INSTANTLY REMOVED!!!! THIS TEXT DOES NOT APPEAR ON ANY LATER PRESSING!!!!  THIRDLY THIS LP HAS "WARNING - Copyright subsists in all Stereo recordings" IN THE SMALL COPYRIGHT TEXT NEAR THE BOTTOM OF THE INSIDE OF THE GATEFOLD COVER (SEE PICTURE)!!!!  ONLY GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS HAD THIS ALL IMPORTANT TEXT - AND OF COURSE ALL LATER PRESSINGS HAD THIS CHANGED TO "WARNING - Copyright subsists in all Vertigo recordings" AND LATER STILL IT WAS CHANGED AGAIN TO "WARNING - Copyright subsists in ALL recordings"!!!!  AND LASTLY THIS LP HAS A MUCH THICKER COVER (LATER ONES ARE MORE FLIMSY)), MUCH THICKER VINYL (LATER ONES ARE THINNER), AND 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS!!!!  IT IS ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT OZZIE OSBOURNES NAME IS MISPELT 'OSSIE OSBOURNE' AND ALL THE BAND MEMBERS NAMES APPEAR IN UPPER CASE TEXT!!!!  THIS LP IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND TO WITH ALL THE VERY IMPORTANT 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS DIFFERENCES AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!

IT IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND A GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING WHICH HAS ALL THE 1ST PRESSING DETAILS LISTED ABOVE!!!!  NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP HAS A GREAT RECORD - WITH A SUPERB CONDITIONED COVER!!!!  THIS IS THE 1970 UK 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'LARGE' VERTIGO 'SPIRAL' LABEL, ULTRA RARE 'PHILIPS' LABEL CREDIT, 1/1 MATRIXES TO BOTH SIDES, 1ST PRESS VERTIGO INNER SLEEVE, AND ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS GATEFOLD COVER - WITH THE CORRECT 1ST PRESS INSIDE COVER TEXT!!!!  DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE SERIOUS RARITY OF FINDING A GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP!!!!  IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WITH ALL THE 1ST PRESS DETAILS GIVEN ABOVE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SERIOUSLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 'Earliest' 1st pressing from 1970 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on thick quality vinyl. The Cat. No is VO 6 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Large' Vertigo 'Spiral' Label (see picture) and is a UK 1970 Stereo 1st pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a few light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in GREAT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, 1 small scuff type mark, only a VERY few VERY light hairlines (only visible under light), only 4 or 5 light NON sounding scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle!!!! There is some slight background sound on the run on grooves, gaps, etc - but as 99% of the music on this LP is VERY loud indeed - any background sound is completely lost behind it!!!!  The record must grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed) if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Vertigo inner sleeve!!!! The Gatefold 1st Press Laminated Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!!  The Cover has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, NO rubbing AT ALL, NO ringwear, barely ANY creases AT ALL (cover is VERY flat looking), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated inside is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO writing, and barely ANY rubbing AT ALL!!!!  The cover must grade FULL Excellent!!!!  IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A GENIUNE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WITH ALL THE 1ST PRESS DETAILS GIVEN ABOVE AND IT WILL SURELY BE A VERY VERY LONG TIME BEFORE YOU SEE ANOTHER - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS SERIOUSLY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
