On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Black Sabbath called "Black Sabbath" and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Vertigo 'Spiral' label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS WAS BLACK SABBATH'S FIRST & RAREST LP EVER - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1970 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS (LIKE THIS!)!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER MADE!!!! AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!! IN FACT, APART FROM THE TINY HANDFUL WITH 'PHILIPS' ON THE LABELS (BARELY ANY EXIST!) - IT IS THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET!!!! AND INCREDIBLY - THIS LP HAS 1/1 MATRIX ENDINGS (LATER ONES DONT!), A 'THICKER' QUALITY GATEFOLD COVER (LATER ONES ARE THINNER!), AND AN ULTRA RARE 'LARGE' VERTIGO LOGO ON THE LABELS (LATER ONES WERE SMALLER!)!!!!
NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT CONDITION - CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'LARGE' VERTIGO 'SPIRAL' LABEL, 1ST PRESS 1/1 MATRIXES, 1ST PRESS VERTIGO 'SPIRAL' INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'THICKER' GATEFOLD COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Vertigo UK 1st Pressing from 1970, and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The Cat. No is VO 6 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Vertigo label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos)!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light hairlines, only 2 or 3 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY slight background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good+++ if not better!!!! BRILLIANT RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Vertigo 'Spiral' inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition - and still FULLY 'poly lined'!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Thicker' Gatefold Cover is in absolutely SUPERB condition!!!! It has NO splits, NO annotations, NO edge wear (apart from some very VERY isolated and almost INVISIBLE 'touching in' traces!), ALL edges look SUPERBLY flat & straight, NO splits, NO spinal wear (PERFECT side words!), NO pinholes, NO sticker residue marks, NO sticker tears, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO rubbing, NO ringwear, and NO writing (apart from the ORIGINAL '37-6' Price - though this is VERY lightly written in PENCIL, and so could be removed in a second if so wished!)!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent if not FULL Excellent!!!! SUPERB COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
