Disc and Sleeve VG / EX

Visually the record looks in very good condition. You can see some surface scratches and hear lots of crackle and clicks. Auto is clear. No skips or jumps. Still a very enjoyable and collectible records.

Sleeve is in excellent condition. All intact with no rips or tears Record and sleeve are made in the UK. Minor shelf ware. Spine is all intact and readable. The original inner sleeve has some creasing in the corners and staining you can see in the pictures

I try to grade as accurately as near as possible to the now standard record collectors grading system
I always put lots of pictures so Please zoom in and have a good look and judge for yourself

Mint (M):

I only grade as mint where the record is brand new and sealed with no visible damage to the sleeve.

Near Mint (NM):

Sleeve: Will only show very minor signs of storage/handling wear. It may have slight corner bumps/rub, ring wear and maybe very minor creasing. It will have no rips or splits.

Record: We be in a new like condition. Very Clean. It may have very, very minor defects such as no more than a couple of very light wispy hairlines and a couple of spindle trails around the centre holes. Basically a record in NM condition will look like you have just got it back from the record shop or at worse only had a couple of plays.

Excellent (EX):

Sleeve: As NM but the signs of wear will become a little more pronounced. There may be signs of stress at the seams maybe the beginnings of a split. It may have a cut out hole indicating that it was taken out of print. There may be a little graffiti on the sleeve or label.

Record: Will show signs of play but has been well looked after by the previous owner. It may show a few more light marks/scuffs than a NM. These marks won't be deep enough to be felt. There may be the odd click or crackle upon playback. Slight warps are that don't effect the sound are OK. 

Very Good (VG): 

Sleeve: A VG sleeve will have many of the defects found in a EX but more pronounced. Seam splits may be more obvious or may be taped or show residue. There may be small rips. It may show some age/handling discolouration. Laminate may be bubbled, may be marred with writing.

Record: Wear and defects will be more obvious with marks/scuffs deep enough to feel with a fingernail. Groove wear will be more noticeable. Sound deterioration and surface noise will become more likely especially during quieter passages.

I don't sell records with a lower grade than VG unless it is incredibly  rare.

Unfortunate, But that is out of my control. It is the only way I will send overseas. It is more safe and secure for you and me. And you automatically get it tracked from the start of the journey until it reaches your house.
Over the years I have had too many records going missing whenever I send abroad. I always end up out of pocket. ( losing out ) and then it's a mal di testa

Please note I always take additional pictures of the record label and sleeve for any distinguishable and unique marks which I keep for the full 60 days Sorry but this has to be done
