BLACK SABBATH- MASTER OF REALITY ORIG. POSTER Swirl 1971 6360050 EX+/M Superb

On offer here is a  rare getting very scarce original album on the collectable vertigo swirl label by Black Sabbath entitled Master of Reality released in 1971,U.K. with an original mega rare U.K. poster, catalogue number 6360050 and the original vertigo swirl inner sleeve dated 1971.It was  valued 20 years ago at £50 and has gone up in value ten fold or more in recent years..I would grade this as EX+/M I am of the opinion this album is becoming impossible to track down with the poster.The music is brilliant progressive rock.The matrix numbers are 1Y1 420 117 2Y1 420 113. I am not an expert on matrices but this looks as if it is on of the earliest ever .Like most albums on this label,this record will continue to rise in value for the foreseeable future especially with the poster so would be an excellent investment.Just have a look at the photographs.
Labels
These are brilliantly crisp and bright with no writing or marks on them and I could not see any spindle wear.The record looks as if it has not been played at all or at least just once or twice.There are no names on the label or writing .
Vinyl
This is a brilliant example.Even under the strongest light I could not see any scuffs or scratches not even wispy lines which would be caused by removing the record from the sleeve .There are no repeating grooves.Even on the quietest tracks there was imperceptible background noise .Some of these 1960's albums like Harvest often played with audible background crackle and hiss even when purchased new from a record shop and were not cared for properly but this album is a welcome exception.The album has been cleaned with a professional cleaning machine worth £1000s but in reality I did not need to pay the fee for this.I would grade the vinyl M and I rarely do this .I have played it through on a Linn Sondek player with Goldring cartridge.It is amazing for a record  nearly 45 years old,Most records have been trashed which are advertised for this album on ebay but not this one.However it is vinyl not a digitised CD so please do not expect 100% perfect background silence but this is as close as you can get and in my opinion sounds as it would have done purchased from a record shop all those years ago.It has been really well looked after and hardly played with no dishing or warping. 
Sleeve
This is the original laminated box sleeve with embossed type.If you look on ebay for this record and sleeve,99 out of a 100 are in poor condition with tears and broken ripped  corners The flaps which open at the top and bottom are difficult to open so they tend to tear and the box invariably tends to become flattened.The flattening on this sleeve is only slight and the shape has been preserved by placing a piece of thick cardboard inside.I have kept the flaps open to prevent possible future damage.I will send this in a box to avoid postal damage.There is just a minimal amount of laminate creasing on the front and rear surface and flaps but no tears or writing. but this is not really anything to worry about.I would grade as EX+ or to be absolutely safe as EX.The spine is undamaged with the lettering fully readable.
Poster
I am not sure of the exact figure but only the first 200 or so of these albums were issued with the iconic poster picturing the band in a wood.I have seen many albums advertised claiming that the record comes with the original poster but these often turn out to be fakes or later reproductions sometimes of U.S.origin.Posters with 4 panels/2 folds or printed on flimsy or shiny paper are repros or of non U.K.origin.The original has 6 panels with 3 folds and measure 18 inches by 27 inches weighing 39 grms .The paper is fairly heavy and matt.This poster has no pin holes and has never been hung on a wall.It has not been opened many times.There are no splits or tears,no writing and I would grade as EX+ or to be safe as definitely EX.


Overall ,I do not think this album will disappoint any winning bidder and to give everyone a chance,I have deliberately set a low start price for the auction.It goes without saying that if anyone is disappointed,I offer a compromise or a full refund..Please contact me directly if there is a problem. If you are secretly happy, please do not contact me simply to negotiate a lower price than the amount bid.This defeats the purpose of ebay.

I offer free postage to U.K.buyers and will ship world wide.£10 for Europe,£15 for rest of world.I have in the past excluded certain countries such as Russia and the Ukraine.In Russia sadly parcels are held up at customs ,go missing or the item can take 10 to 12 weeks to be delivered.Buyers would need to be patient and accept the purchase at their own risk but I will send all items tracked and can email a copy of the tracking receipt.I know some sellers have stopped sending to certain countries.
