Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... As you can see, this vinyl is the VERY RARE //1 //2 1st 1978 pressing - with the Strawberry etchings on both sides of the vinyl

Stored from new this LP has seen below average plays
This pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is little dulling anywhere and overall it is in superb condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all like this.
a few tiny spider lines and no wear to the centre hole
There are a few light whisp lines, one light feint hairline and there is one little mark on 'Johnny Blade' which does not sound... and thats it. Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN SUPER PLAY CONDITION.
On playing through we heard barely a hint of any static in the dead grooves and the occasional little static crackle along the way ...the whole record plays superb.
THESE //1 MATRIX COPIES ARE QUITE RARE..AND WHILST NOT A MINT VINYL HERE- IT IS STILL A CRACKER..

This is in simply incredible condition, quite amazing how it has survived so clean. The lamination pulling so tight it creates the 'bowed' effect on the top seam..stunning!

NO DULLING AT ALL.
The edges are all super clean with no real traces of rub, at all , and all colours and inks remain in outstanding condition
No ringwear - Just some light RING PRESS..
The open edge remains in immaculate sharp condition -superb.
No spider lines of any note, and just some light tip rub on the open edge
The spine edge is immaculate with no rub or wear at all

CARD INNER..- NO DAMAGE OR SPLITS AT ALL. SOME LIGHT RING WEAR AND RUBBING
