Due to my “new subscriber status” I’d like to start off with an introduction of myself. My hobby, for the most part, is High-End Audio and in return the media played on it. In this instance my media of choice are LPs and my preference is Vacuum-Tubed equipment. This being the case most of which I will be selling/auctioning on eBay will be related to one or the other.

I am very well versed in both and most importantly, and the most subjective of all, the grading of vinyl. I am by no means new to it.

I understand all of the nuances and intricacies involved in order to properly grade an LP, cover/sleeve, inner sleeve etc. I understand 1ST pressings, WLPs’, Test pressings and how to read dead-wax matrixes etc. The Audio& vinyl hobbies have been passions of mine for 34-years! My Audio dealings throughout the years have been facilitated through a forum know as Audiogon and in return it reflects a 100% feedback rating for my transactions.

My vinyl transactions have for the better part been limited to Old School storefronts. I travel often for business and when I do I reward myself by tracking down the nearest Vinyl shops etc.

I am offering up for auction my copy of Black Sabbath’s GROUND-BREAKING“Paranoid”, 6063-011 on the famed SWIRLED VERTIGO label. I have finally completed recording my Sabbath catalog to reel-to-reel and it’s time to let them go to another good home.

VINYL:

EX++/M-. This is one of those in-betweeners! The LP has a couple very, very faint scratches albeit none caused by a dragging stylus as they are very faint indeed. Most likely just specks of dirt stuck in between the inner sleeve and the LP. Most importantly though is that none of these affect play!

If you were to ask me to be very conservative I’d lean more towards the grading of EX++. They play grade is as you would expect from a Vertigo 1ST pressing; stunning (War Pigs…WHOA!)

COVER:

VG++: The laminated cover has a few creases here& there albeit none heavy. No writing, a couple scratches yet none that ever penetrated the lamination and into the underlying cardboard.

INNER SLEEVE:

EX: The inner sleeve has some yellowing but no tears, rips etc.

LABELS:

NM-: The labels are vibrant, full of color, or lack of..LOL, with no writing or stains. Also, I don’t believe I seen more than one Spindle mark on each side; if that?
