BLACK SABBATH - SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH 1st UK PRESS
A lovely copy of Black Sabbath's classic hard rock LP, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, on WWA records.
This is the first UK release with the silver WWA logo on the label, the patent numbers stamped on the inner bag, which also includes the boxed copyright warning. Very few of these were manufactured before significant changes were made - this is every hardcore Sab fan's wset dream!
So, to the precise details:
Silver WWA logo on the labels - later issues bore this logo in white. This is the early silver logo release.
WWA 05 super deluxe - matrix numbers:
WWA 005 1 [HEART SYMBOL] [TRIANGLE SYMBOL] 1 11 [7 scratched through] - 16
WWA 005 2 [HEART SYMBOL] [ASTERISK SYMBOL] 1 11 18
The lightweight inner bag has the patent numbers stamped across the personnel details for side two.
The inner bag has a boxed copyright warning under the details for Fluff.
The LP itself is in excellent condition - a high gloss sheen, very few sight marks.
The sleeve has light damage to the black ink, a hazard for this release. The reverse has light foxing. the gatefold inner is superb.
The inner bag has a light tear to its lower edge.
This is a lovely, very rare item.
