BLACK SABBATH S/T LP~G/F~UK VERTIGO SWIRL~1Y1/2Y2~VG+

Media: LP
Condition: Strong VG+/Strong VG+
Cover Condition: STRONG VG+
Label: VERTIGO
Reference Number : VO6 (847 903 VTY)
Country: US
Date: 1970

ORIGINAL 1970 UK RELEASE ON VERTIGO! 1ST PRESSING! Martix: VO4IYI420/VO42Y2420.
This comes from my personal collection which I am selling due to sudden monetary need.
Vinyl has a couple light surface scuffs holding grade down. There is also very slight warp that does NOT effect play (but makes this a Strong VG+ rather than VG++). Side 1: Sound is very solid, deep, though there is occasional background noise in a couple quieter passages, which are few and far between. Side 2: More background noise in quiet passages. But sounds awesome when loud. Could a cleaning help? Probably.
GATEFOLD cover has light ringwear on back; touch on front, touch of cornerwear, stain on front (can be cleaned up I think) below person (so hard to see), woc upper left, price sticker upper right (should be removable with heat). Inside is in excellent shape.
Swirl labels are excellent, clean and bright.
Original Vertigo inner sleeve in excellent shape.
Songs: Black Sabbath, The Wizard, Wasp/Behind the Wall of Sleep, N.I.B., Evil Woman Don't Play Your Games with Me, Sleeping Village, Warning.
PLEASE wait for invoice.
Please e-mail with questions before bidding.

SHIPPING INFORMATION: PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING

WE SHIP WORLDWIDE--ANYWHERE!

EVERYONE...PLEASE WAIT FOR AN INVOICE BEFORE PAYING!!! IF YOU PAY TOO SOON AND IT IS NOT ENOUGH, I WILL REQUEST ADDITIONAL FUNDS BE SENT BEFORE SHIPPING. PLEASE WAIT!!!

US BUYERS please note when selecting the proper shipping costs: I live in ALASKA. Media Mail from ALASKA takes 5 to 6 WEEKS in some cases, though not all, and sometimes more in winter. (If you select media mail and it takes a long time, please do not penalize ME in eBay feedback. This is NOT MY FAULT. I am not the USPS. Thanks.)
For this reason, Priority Mail is recommended. ALL CDs and 45s go First Class, which takes from 5 days to 2 weeks, again, unless you want Priority Mail.
All non-media items will be shipped with the combined best rate and fastest means. It's still a little slower from here, so consider Priority Mail if it's a rush item. Ask for a quote if needed.

Current Charges (which cover postage, proper packaging materials, labor and gas to the post office):
LPs: United States: Media Mail $5.00 LP, each additonal item: $1.00 (SEE BELOW FOR MULTIPLE ALBUMS)
LPS: United States: Priority $10.00 LP, each additonal item: $2.00
DVDs, CDs or 45s: United States: First Class $3.00, each additional $1.00
DVDs, CDs or 45s: United States: Priority $7.50 each additional item: $1.50
Canada: First Class International: $8.50 LP, $6 CD, $5.25 45; each additional item: $2
Europe and Mexico: First Class International: $16.50 LP, $9 CD, $7 45; each additional item: $3.00
Asia, Japan, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Malaysa--anywhere else: First Class International: $17.50 LP, $10 CD, $8.00 45; each additional item: $3.00
Overseas DVDs are the same price as CDs.

Please note: A double album is the same as two records, a triple the same as three and a 5LP box set the same as five records. Take this into account when determining your shipping cost per item as eBay no longer allows me to post the proper shipping costs, only $4.00 max.

For INTERNATIONAL ORDERS OVER 5 LPS, PLEASE WAIT FOR INVOICE. SPECIAL PRICING OCCURS AT THIS LEVEL.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: International packages are sent by First Class International mail. It is fairly quick and cheap. However, insurance is NOT offered by the US Post Office with this shipping option.
If you prefer that your package be insured, shipping will be by Priority Mail International mail. That is a LOT more expensive, but this is YOUR option.Ask me.

INSURANCE:
PLANETARY SOUNDS DOES NOT insure items. This is up to YOU! If you think there is a risk, insure it!

At our choosing, however, we may require insurance for higher cost items, typically over $100 ANYWHERE in the world.
Please read these shipping instructions so you are 100% sure of costs.

I usually ship twice a week.

FEEDBACK: You will get positive feedback automatically when you leave me positive feedback, so please do so. If there is an issue, please contact me BEFORE leaving bad feedback. We can work it out.

Thank you.
Here is the standard Planetary Sounds grades records by (with help from Goldmine).
Remember, even with such a guide, grading is still subjective. Albums visually graded under bright lights. Please ask questions if unsure about anything BEFORE you bid.
Still Sealed (SS) As good as it gets. Unopened and most likely perfect all around.
Mint (M) Absolutely perfect in every way. Probably played once. Handled with utmost care.
Near Mint (NM or M-) A nearly perfect record. The record shows no obvious signs of wear. Covers show no more than the most minor defects. The same holds true for inserts, such as posters, lyric sleeves, etc.
Near Mint Minus or Very Good Plus Plus (NM- or VG++) Just a hair more wear than NM, but still very close to Near Mint overall. Vinyl may have nominal sleeve or paper scuffs, cover may have hint of wear. VG++ will be just a fraction below NM- due to one additional tiny defect.
Very Good Plus (VG+) Album and cover show some light signs that it was played and otherwise handled with care of it. Record surfaces may have slight surface scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect play. If not for a couple things wrong with it, this would be Near Mint.
Very Good (VG) Increased scuffs or light scratches, surface noise evident upon playing. Covers and labels may be marred by writing, or have tape or stickers, or minor seam splits.
