BLACK SABBATH - SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH

A  superb copy of this Sabbath UK very 1st press classic with little played gleaming vinyl and flawless stereo sound quality throughout

Year/Label : 1973 UK WWA Label number : WWA 005 Matrix numbers :  ACB166 A//2 420 04, W̶W̶A̶ ̶0̶0̶5̶ 2Y//2 420 0 with ACB00166 27 etched onto side 2 run-off Stampers :  1 1 1  /  12 3 0
EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) condition vinyl - many would grade as "near mint", I am sure - completely flat and retaining a wonderful jet black lacquered sheen and even with close inspection under a bright light difficult to fault. If you look really hard you might just be able to identify a few extremely faint and purely superficial paper scuffs on each side but nothing else - remarkable condition for a 52 year old UK 1st pressing such as this.  The very 1st press "raised rim" labels are pristine - I'm not sure that I can even spot the usual one or two small faint spindle trails adjacent to the centre hole...perhaps just one on side 2.  Clearly, this is a record that has been only very sparingly played  EXCELLENT (EX) condition unlaminated "pacific eye and ear" outer gatefold sleeve with firm edges, including a rigid spine where all spine text remains perfectly intact. remarkably there is no edge scuffing, just a tiny "nick" on the reverse side bottom edge and a very faint 1cm surface crease on the front side adjacent and perpendicular to the spine and which does protrude slightly onto the spine...very trivial - I'm struggling to find any faults at all. Each corner is a near perfectly defined right angle with minimal rubbing, the opening edges remain rigid with no fraying, and the inside of the gatefold is pristine. The artwork, photos, and texts all remain amazingly vibrant and with crystal clear definition. You may come across just one or two totally non-obvious and extremely light handling/storage marks but that's it - incredible condition considering it's age. What a truly iconic and beautiful LP cover this is. Superb near mint (NM) stereo sound quality with no sticks, skips, repeats, clicks, distortion or background crackle - flawless! Wonderful tone and crystal clear reproduction throughout. Every track is timeless and remains a great listen - what a terrific album this remains.  Comes with original paper inner sleeve with notes and lyrics and with no side splits, no edge fraying, no tears, barely any age discolouration and with just some mild creasing towards the bottom corners - brilliant! Note that I always ship the vinyl in a new plain white inner sleeve in order to protect the original.    A truly brilliant condition copy of this UK very 1st press 1973 Black Sabbath classic with the little played gleaming vinyl, outstanding stereo sound quality, and gorgeous outer gatefold sleeve each being a true highlight.
