BLACK SABBATH ''BLACK SABBATH VOL 4''  RAREST EVER TO FIND, VERTIGO SWIRL! IT IS BELIEVED THAT JUST A COUPLE OF THOUSAND WERE PRESSED ON THIS LABEL WITH THE PORKY AND PECKO MASTER ETCHINGS! TOP! AUDIO THROUGHOUT!!! THE ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE IS ALSO STILL THERE . NO "Made in England" on the label.

Vinyl: VG+ . Stunning deep glossy and heavy vinyl. A beautiful glossy vinyl with just a few wispy hairlines, totally unfeelable. Also a shallow longish rubmark on side 2, again not impacting on the audio barring two low level pops which are certainly not intrusive. I subjected the record to a detailed listen on my high end system and it sounded great. Lovely channel separation without any distortion and only very light static at times easily shadowed by the powerful audio. Labels are undamaged and in EX condition with light spindle traces. NO "Made in England" on the label. (That would have made it a second press).

Gatefold sleeve: VG++.  Without doubt one of the hardest gatefolds to still find intact!! A great matt sleeve with light storage wear on the matt black parts as evidenced in the pictures. The structure of the sleeve is still very solid and has not been overused at all. Only moderate wear on the edges top and bottom. The spine is still 100% legible. The opening is  crisp. This still has the inner photo booklet intact and attached but with a few creases to the pages. There are no creases to the sleeve itself bar the very dull crease to the bottom left as seen in the pic, but barely noticeable. This has to be seen in the flesh to be properly appreciated. The pictures give you some impression of the quality at hand in this auction. 

Inner sleeve: The original swirl inner sleeve is in great shape with the poly liner attched. No creases or splits. Light yellowing on the extremities of the sleeve. An easy EX.

This is a unique investment opportunity!!! The next prog album to go completely through the roof. Finding this album in any condition at all is nearly impossible so late in the day. Get this while you still can. This value of the album is only going to go one way ... up and up ... until it will be totally unavailable at all for a reasonable price.
