Description
The Black Sun Ensemble: same 1985, USA/Pyknotic 1000. Disc is M-, has two hand-applied white labels. The cover was originally a posterboard wraparound open on three sides, but a previous owner first stapled it closed across the top and bottom edges, then removed the staples and taped the seams instead. So, it's now a closed cover with several staple holes along the top and bottom edges. There's also a crease along the top edge. The old sticker from a record shop in Tucson on the back looks cool, so I've opted to leave it on. The cover gets a VG grade. Amazing flipped-out LP with layered electric/acoustic guitars sounds like early 70s Jimmy Page on an instrumental bender! The track "Cobracalia" on side two has punishing riffs with an eastern vibe, I've freaked out a few friends with it over the years. This is one of the few LPs made after the 1970s that I do not hesitate to recommend. By the way, there are some reissues of this LP floating around, the original has a one-piece printed cover (obviously not photocopied) and every original disc I've seen has at least one hand-applied label.

I pack/ship once a week, usually on Friday. I use sturdy cardboard boxes designed for shipping records, and I remove the disc from the cover to prevent seam splits during shipment.
