This is an ORIGINAL 1972 TOP CAT LABEL JAMAICAN PRESSING of the 45 titled (Romancing To The) 'Folk Song' by (Black) Uhuru (The Sound Of Freedom) / 'Version' by The Freedom Express. This is Black Uhuru's very first record. Top Cat Records catalog number is T.C. 08. The record is an original 1972 Jamaican Top Cat Records label pressing, white labels with black print, drawing of a cat with a hat at the top of the labels. Matrix numbers are hand etched in the dry runout areas; A-side matrix number is DSR-7850-A; B-side matrix number is DSR-7851-B. Record was produced by Paul Finlayson-Fuller and George Philpotts; Engineers are George Philpotts and Karl Pitterson. Condition of record is a low to mid VG+ with a moderate amount of surface marks and a few light surface scratches, none of which can be felt; this record will play with a little bit of surface noise and a few scattered ticks, should not skip.
