Description

This record very interesting because it is a Paramount picture label of Blind Lemon Jefferson. The only other picture label I have seen is of Ma Rainey on Paramount. The picture label clearly shows Lemon Jefferson wearing spectacles. The recordings took place sometime in 1928. A rare record in any condition. I am no expert on grading and I have heard that Paramounts found unplayed still have a hail of background noise, so I may be innacurrate. I bought it from a reputable dealer on ebay with 500+ feedbacks who listed it as Good to Good+. There is one word missing from low down mojo blues. It skips over "school" and continues playing when Lemon says for the second time, " When I was young, on my, bigfoot way to school" Otherwise there are no chips or breaks.
