BLIND WILLIE JOHNSON Columbia 14391 City Of Refuge VG++

This is a great record for Blind Willie Johnson who was an amazing religious blues singer from Texas.  This record has "I'm Gonna Run To The City Of Refuge" and "Jesus Is Coming Soon" and is a first issue record.

 Blind Willie had a very powerful voice and was singing one of his songs so loud and proud, in front of a New Orleans Customs building that he was arrested for inciting a riot.  Of course the song he was sing was "If I had My Way I Would Tear This Building Down". 

You do not see many Blind Willie records come up on ebay, much less one in this amazing VG++ condition!  The labels are all in great condition too and the record has a nice sheen to it.  

A must have for any blues collector!
