Description

PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

ULTRA RARE original non-promotional first pressing of the Ramones debut 45 from 1976 on Sire with STERLING dead wax stamp, ABC credit in the lower label rim text and Havana Affair on the B-side!!!  Vinyl is VG with some very light paper scuffs.  This 45 was one of punk's opening salvos and the shot heard round the world when it was released to an unsuspecting public 47 years ago(!) to sweep the last remnants of prog under the carpet and transform the entire musical landscape of the late 1970s and beyond.  Its influence cannot be overstated.  An incredible piece of first wave history and a massive current and guaranteed future collectable.  Don't sleep punk collectors.

I USE GOLDMINE GRADING: MINT (SEALED)
NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS
GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
