On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Blonde On Blonde called "Contrasts" and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Pye label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME RAREST LPs ON THE PYE LABEL - AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!! JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!! BACK IN 1969 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED - IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN GREAT CONDITION (WITH A BRILLIANT RECORD!) - AND CLEARLY HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1969 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS PYE LABEL, 1ST PRESS A1/B1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' GATEFOLD FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL Pye UK 1st Pressing from 1969 and is in GREAT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is NSPL 18288 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press Pye Label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st Pressing (there were NO Monos!)!!!!
The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 VERY light hairlines, only 1 MEGA light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW!!!! It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and NO background sound (apart from a slight touch on 1 run on groove ONLY!)!!!! The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! BRILLIANT RECORD!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in BRILLIANT condition (with only slight foxing)!!!! The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrard & Lofthouse' Gatefold Flipback Laminated Cover is in GREAT condition - and would be BRILLIANT were it not for the 1 detail I will mention below!!!! It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear (still FULLY Laminated and PERFECT side words!), only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO rips, NO tears, only some very VERY minor evidence of 'tipping in' to the outer corner tips & lower spinal tip, some more noticeable 'touching in' to the top spinal corner, VERY shiny laminate, only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking indeed!), NO splits, and NO writing!!!! The opening edges are beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL!!!! Even the inside of the cover is in SUPERB condition overall (please read) with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO rubbing, STUNNING flipbacks, and NO writing!!!! However on the inside of the cover in the long distant past, someone has badly 'touched in' some light wear on the black border on the inside of the cover. And as you can see, this has 'bled through' in places to the edges on the cover front. Despite this - this cover is still 100% solid, still VERY presentable indeed, and even with the detail mentioned - still way WAY better than the usual trashed examples that turn up for sale!!!! The cover must MEGA STRICTLY grade Very Good(Minus) (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is still a VERY solid & VERY presentable cover indeed!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
