This record is in excellent- condition. It has only a few faint spindle marks visible on the labels and there are no pen marks, scuffs or any other issues such as stains or fading. The centres are not loose or worn and overall the labels are clean, bright and in nice condition.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides have a lovely lustre and are generally nice and clean. There is however a few small lines and marks in places and so the record is graded just below excellent at EX-. There is nothing nasty or major showing and nothing that can be felt. There is also not lots of marks with just a few dotted about and showing faintly. Overall the vinyl is close to excellent visually with a lovely shine and no signs of heavy use just a few light lines in parts.
I play tested the record and it played nicely with no major issues. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no movement in the record arm. The audio has no skips, sticks or serious tics but there is a few light tics in the run in to side 1. You can also pick up 2 in the initial 'phone ringing' intro' to track 1 before the track starts and plays great. The rest of side 1 plays in a similar fashion with no nasty issues or serious surface noise. There is the odd light splutter in parts and minor surface noise between tracks but nothing disruptive. Side 2 plays as side 1 with a solid grade of 'EX' audio throughout.
The sleeve is in excellent- condition. It has some wear and rubbing to the edges and corners but the writing along the spine is still all legible. There are no splits, tears, scuffs or pen marks anywhere and the spine is square and straight. There is some light fading or ring marks showing on the rear however and some general light signs of handling to each side. Overall a solid and tidy sleeve but one that is not perfect and has some signs of handling and its age. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible as to its condition.
It includes its original lyrics inner which is in excellent condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks but has some signs of handling with light grubbiness and ring marks. I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure no damage occurs to the original during transit.
The record will be packaged in cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.I hope my photos are comprehensive enough but if you have any questions then don't hesitate to contact me.
