Artist:   BLOSSOM DEARIE

Title:   “My Gentleman Friend”

Label:   VERVE.  Mono pressing on medium vinyl, does not have deep groove.  Catalog number is MGV 2125.

Year:  1959.

Personnel:  Blossom Dearie – piano & vocals;  Kenny Burrell – guitar;  Bobby Jaspar – flute;  Ray Brown – bass;  Ed Thigpen - drums.

Condition:

Vinyl:  Side A is NEAR MINT with 100% of original gloss, as clean as can be found.  No sign of having been on a turntable.   Side B has a couple very slight scuffs on the first track that produce a few soft tics, the remainder of the side grades NEAR MINT flawless.

Labels are clean.  Fidelity is superb.  A gorgeous disc you will never need to upgrade.

Jacket is nice VG+.  Front art work is nice and bright, with a couple very slight traces of ring wear just beginning to appear at top.   Seams, spine and corners are excellent, except for a small split (approximately 2 inches) at top right corner.  Reverse is clean and white.  The original owner placed a small piece of cellophane tape at the top and bottom seam.  No writing, stickers, cutout indications, or other problems.  Overall a very presentable jacket to accompany the lovely disc.
