It's maybe just a fraction less heavy than the onslaught of the debut, but it makes up for it by being a little more bluesy and having a little more fuzz. "Feathers From Your Tree" & "Sun Cycle" will leave you feeling like it's a warm, hazy summer's day. It's still pretty damn heavy, there just seems to be more emphasis on dreamy fuzz than crushing distorted riffs. Tunes like "Come And Get It", "Gypsy Ball" and the covers of "Satisfaction" & "The Hunter" really rock out though, so it's still a rough ride. Overall an excellent album again, truly just as essential as the debut if you're a fan of 60's garage/blues/psych/proto-metal, and shows the band cleaning up their sound a little, which they would continue on their next few albums.
