Description
This is a very good original U.S. pressing copy of the second LP by Blue Cheer, released in 1968. Recorded by the same trio line-up that unleashed the behemoth Vincebus Eruptum onto the record-buying public earlier that year, the record tempers the debut's crushing sonic intensity with greater lyrical and instrumental sophistication on tracks like "Feathers from Your Tree" and "Sun Cycle," though they still raise a ruckus on several originals and covers of "Satisfaction" and the very unsubtle Albert King blues song, "The Hunter." The record comes in an elaborate tri-fold unipak jacket, which has splitting in and wear on the spine (see photo), light ring wear and staining, light corner and seam wear, and some sticker residue on the front cover. A former owner wrote their name in black marker inside the tri-fold. Overall VG+). The disc has a fair amount of scraping and scuffing, and some loss of glossiness, and it plays with mostly light surface noise and occasional mostly light popping (VG+). The same former owner wrote their name in black marker on both disc labels.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
