BLUE MITCHELL QUINTET “Down With It!” RVG, DG, P, Blue Note BLP 4214 Mono Vinyl

This is 1965, first edition, “VAN GELDER” stamped, Deep Groove, “P” pressing of BLUE MITCHELL QUINTET’s “Down With It!” on the “New York USA” labels of Blue Note BLP 4214. Musicians include Blue Mitchell – trumpet, Junior Cook – tenor saxophone, Chick Corea – piano, Gene Taylor – bass, Al Foster – drums.

VINYL plays very well with occasional pops or ticks. Ensemble sections are clear, dynamic and strong. No distortion. No skips. Good gloss. Vinyl clean with a few none-feelable hairline marks.  The Deep Groove (One Side) “New York USA” labels are clean, spindle wear.  See photos.

COVER is in good shape.  Corners worn. Spine and seams nearly perfect. “BLUE NOTE RECORDS. INC, 43 West 61st St., New York 23” back jacket is clean. Please see photos.

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC CLEANER.
