Description
LP: Hank Mobley. And His All Stars. Blue Note 1544. Blue/White label, 47 WEST 63rd NEW YORK 23 address, double-sided deep groove, FLAT EDGE pressing ( = no safety lip), RVG hand etched and "EAR" (Plastilyte Record Plant) in dead wax, no INC., no R.
VERY RARE ORIGINAL US 1st MONO Pressing. SUPERB VG/VG CONDITION !!!
CONDITION RECORD/COVER: VG (visually VG+ (a few very faint superficial paper scuffs/hairlines, no tangible scratches), but the professional Stereo pick-up, which is used for listening, detected occasional low background noise in quieter passages (i assume that Mono pick-ups could provide a better result...)) / VG (cover rear shows a few marks from age (tanning), a pushed corner bottom right, residues from removed tape around seams (once fitted to prevent splits), please take a look at the pictures)Strict grading; grading sequence: M/VG/G
