:: BLUE Note of the seminal jazz date of LEE MORGAN .......... SEARCH FOR THE NEW LAND
matrix #BNST-84169 A/B
a very presentable album - not audiophile so don't expect that...but killer playback
NOTE: early BLUE NOTE transitional label showing NY side one; LIBERTY side two; Blue Note still had original owners under management at his stage of the game ensuring quality control before they left; this includes Rudy Van Gelder quality control in the New Jersey record plant where the Blue Note stampers still remained - note the Blue Note original pictorial sleeve still?
TRUE STEREO CHANNELING VAN GELDER [ stamped] runout... later pressing on Liberty and later United would not... far superior Liberty pressing are from the early transition where often times Liberty would use surplus BLUE NOTE labels on their stamper process, hence NY one side LIB other side..
(see close-up photos)
(Visual Grade) vinyl: VG+ showing careful playing and superficial sleeve markings ; x pen on label side one; HEAVY VINYL PLATTER HERE non flimsy!!!!
Plays with big, bold signature BLUE NOTE SOUND)))))) fills the room even at low volume.
?
PlayGrade Notes: BAM!!! OPENS WITH that big Blue note sound but does play with little if any surface noise from micro lines ( see photos)
