BLUES/ROCK 'N' ROLL EP: KID THOMAS Rockin’ This Joint Tonight, Wail Baby Wail +4
7-inch 33rpm EP: Rockin’ This Joint Tonight, Wail Baby Wail, Lookie There/Cozy Lounge Blues (Instr.), Five Long Years, You Are An Angel – D n L EP 004. Hard-hitting blues harmonica and vocals and frantic rock 'n 'roll, compiled from singles and previously unissued tapes recorded in Los Angeles in the late '50s and 1960s. Kid Thomas was born Lou Thomas Watts in Mississippi and said he learned harmonica from Willie "Big Eyes" Smith in Chicago (and in turn Smith learned drums from Watts). He recorded for Federal, Muriel, Cenco, and TRC sometimes using the names Tommy Louis or Lewis. He was shot to death in Los Angeles in 1970. Near mint copy.

GRADING: LPs, EPs and 45s are graded M (mint), NM (near mint), VG+, VG (very good), VG-, G+, G (good), G-, F (fair), and P (poor).
[+ and - denote in-between grades. Grades with a slash in between indicate the condition of Side A/Side B.]
Jackets graded VG+ have only slight wear; jackets graded VG are more worn but still intact unless defects are noted. G jackets show definite damage and F and P jackets are probably falling apart. Splits, markings, cut corners, and other defects will be noted.
