Description

Blues - Classic sides by Priscilla Stewart accompanied by Jimmy Blythe (piano), recorded August 1924 in Chicago. Visually the record is E+ with high gloss on both sides of the red vinyl. May be a vinyl test or special order but has standard Paramount label. Plays accordingly, sound quality is extraordinary for any Paramount particularly such an early performance , music and singing is loud and clear over mild background swish/hiss and no distortion, particularly on "Mecca". A rare record and in first class playing condition.  Great jazzy piano accompaniment!
