TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings on this site as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale in my auctions - from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" in great condition! Here is one of those early, rare and collectible LP`s by one of the great R'n'R/R'n'B singer/songwriter's of that era - the late-great, Bo Diddley - his very 1st LP release ever!! And, this is yet another album which is in very good overall condition - both the vinyl and jacket. The album is on the original, black with silver print, Checker Label and is self-entitled simply, "Bo Diddley" and includes 12 great songs all written and sung by the man himself and all in original MONO (see pics above for all song titles). In fact, this album has many of the greatest songs Diddley ever recorded and certainly some of the one's we all know best (again, see pics above for all titles). I have listed - and will continue to list - many other LP's, EP's and 45's in the weeks and months ahead, so please bookmark my site and check everything out from time to time. Thank you in advance! LABEL INFO: This original, black with silver print, Checker Label (LP-1431) is in great shape with no serious issues at all - I don't even see that many spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it may have had very little actual play time. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in much need of a mention - although there are some totally uneventful and super light surface/paper lines throughout either side. Otherwise though, in my opinion it looks almost as good as the day it was 1st purchased. JACKET INFO: Finally, this jacket is also primarily clean with no serious issues to list, but not perfect either. There are light crease lines down the middle of the backside only - but nothing too serious. In addition, there are a couple very small scuff marks in the corner areas and a stamped ad supposedly listing the name and address of where this LP was 1st purchased (see pics). INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion this LP is in real nice overall shape - and so very difficult to find anymore. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B/C&W LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists. As I have already mentioned, I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 100's more to get to yet -- of all genre's and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail with Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I take a great deal of pride in packaging all my mailings both safely and securely. However, I cannot be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. But, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
