Description
The record you are viewing is part of a collection acquired through a successful auction bid. The product purchased is from a deceased record store owner whose doors closed circa 1970, having made a run of it during the 60's. An incredibly large volume of LPs remained, many in new (sealed) or pristine condition and properly stored. These will comprise the bulk of offerings I will be posting on eBay. With a vast and well preserved inventory, it will take time to sift through and uncover the many hidden gems that await. My goal is to present these finds to eBay buyers in a timely and systematic manner. I am aware finds of this nature are indeed rare, but the fact is, the records I will be listing have sat undisturbed for over 40 years waiting to be rediscovered, shared and enjoyed. I hope you will find some items you've been wanting and can be part of, what I feel, is an historical find. All items kept in smoke-free, pet-free environment. All unsealed LPs cleaned with Spin-Clean record cleaning system.
World Pacific flat edge, deep groove MONO vinyl LP PJ-1233 - released 1963
NM vinyl retains newish sheen and gloss with no play or handling marks. Has a few superficial sleeve marks and a few brush-like non-feelible scratches (visible under powerful bulb) - none affecting playback. Play test on NAD C555 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge revealed impressively rich, clear analogue sound. One of the best pressings I've heard from the era. VG+ cover has tight 1/2" seam split lower right corner, adhesive mark lower right corner, and light shelf and edge wear.
