BOB DENVER incredible beatnik radio spots LP v.rare !! Shipping Info | S/H info: Description ONE LINERS BY BOB DENVER AS MAYNARD G. KREBBS on DIMENSIONAL RADIO records (private issue). one of the greatest all-time beatnik exploitation LPs and virtually unknown! denver (from dobie gillis/gilligan TV shows) does 33 brief, three to fifteen second spots in hepcat slang and record was produced (circa '59-'60) for fake disc jock interviews. see scans below with track titles like "eyes for the action", "dig you like, live", "i'm hip!", "i'm hip", "get the bread!", etc. and all are performed FANTASTICALLY !!! a true holy grail piece for beat ephemera collectors. extremely highly recommended, only know of one other copy in super-crazy local beatnik collection and NEVER seen one offered, on ebay or anywhere else. see my other auctions for a very cool mix of vintage oddities, curiosities and mixed-genre LPs.
