Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of a double LP archival release of mid-'60s material by Bob Dylan and the Band, released in 1975. The songs were recorded in 1967 after Dylan had recovered from his mid-1966 motorcycle accident. Per usual, some of the songs had been picked up by other artists, notably the Byrds ("You Ain't Goin' Nowhere," "This Wheel's on Fire"), Fairport Convention ("Million Dollar Bash"), and Thunderclap Newman ("Open the Door, Homer"). The Band rerecorded two songs ("Tears of Rage," "This Wheel's on Fire") for Music from Big Pink. For those into the minutiae: per the disc's runout matrix #s, this copy is from the Terre Haute pressing. The gatefold jacket has ring wear, light corner, seam, and edge wear, and a little mostly light creasing (EX). The discs have some light scraping and scuffing, and play with some light surface noise -- EX(+).
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
