THE LP HAS THE FIRST ISSUE TEXTURED ORANGE CBS LABELS (with 33 speed indication)
FIRST PRESS *MONO* MATRIX: 62429 1A 1 (machine stamped) (with a small '+' etched after the 1 and 'C' (stamped) at the 6 o'clock position) / 62429 1B 1 (machine stamped) (with a small '+' etched after the 1 and 'C' (stamped) at the 6 o'clock position)
AND IS IS HOUSED IN THE ORIGINAL FRONT LAMINATED TRI-FLIPBACK SLEEVE (no printers credits)

LABELS: The labels are CLEAN and BRIGHT and UNMARKED with just some moderate spindles traces (please see close-up photo)
VINYL Visual: The surfaces still retain their original DEEP, GLOSSY SHEEN. There are some superficial light marks but these are not deep and have NO real audio consequence - the LP plays beautifully throughout
VINYL Audio: CRYSTAL CLEAR, RICH, SHARP SOUND - TREMENDOUS IMMEDIATE FEEL ON THIS *MONO* CUT. There are NO scratches, NO sticks/jumps, just a few light intermittent clicks (only 5 which rise above background level on "Ballad in Plain D") - nothing major and certainly nothing I ever found intrusive on play-grading this MASTERPIECE. The sound quality is impressive throughout and the record plays to a very high standard with NO discernible groove-wear and NO distortion. Critically graded Nr EXCELLENT for audio and although not perfect it still must rank as one of the finest sounding first MONO presses I have heard in a while - VERY NICE COPY INDEED
SLEEVE: The original front laminated tri-flipback sleeve is BEAUTIFULLY CLEAN and FRESH with NO marks/unwanted writing. Nice DEEP GLOSS to the front surfaces and a very clean unlaminated back. The bottom flipback is creased at the opening corner but it is firmly stuck down (please see close-up photo), otherwise the edges are SHARP and practically UNWORN (there is a very small split (less than 1 cm) at the bottom opening edge but its very minor). All spine text is CLEAR and BOLD. Overall, a beautifully preserved sleeve and graded a strong EXCELLENT
