A TOP COPY WITH GREAT AUDIO
CONDITION REPORT & PHOTO GALLERY AUDIO: EXCELLENT(+); this has been play graded from start to finish. The audio is great; bright, crisp and clear without any distortion at all. Just very occasional light background crackle and the odd light click. Superb audio; sounded great from start to finish.
VINYL VISUAL: EXCELLENT; nice shiny vinyl. There are some light superficial marks on the surface of the record which may be vinyl imperfections. They may also clean off;. My guess is that they have been caused by the record remaining inside a shrinkwrapped cover for many years. Anyway, they are definitely not scuffs or scratches and had no affect on the sound at all. 
Bright natural light picked up a few hairlines and the odd paper scuff. One light mark on side 2. My halogen lamp highlighted some wispy sleeve removal marks. Looks fine. 
LABELS: NEAR MINT; just the lightest hint of spindle marks. Both look great.
SLEEVE: MINT; a superb example that could not be bettered. It is still completely in its shrinkwrap (only opened to remove the record) which has only now started to come loose at the rear. Superb.
BOOKLET: NM/MINT; absolutely superb; it looks like it has been barely touched ever. Just the very lightest signs of handling on the back page preventing a clear Mint grade.

GRADING

Unless otherwise stated, all of my records have been play tested before listing using a Rega P3-24 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge & stylus. I describe honestly and accurately but please bear in mind that I am only human and such things are always subjective. I tend to grade records conservatively and believe that my feedback speaks for itself. 

 Please take confidence from the fact that I have been a collector myself for over 20 years (please check my feedback as a buyer) and know only too well how disappointing it is to receive an inaccurately described record.

I also grade visually using a strong halogen lamp.

I use the Record Collector grading system as shown below.

POSTAGE / SHIPPING

I post worldwide and pack all records in custom made (stiff) card mailers and add extra packaging inside to ensure a safe delivery. I will provide a protective polythene sleeve and the record and inner will be removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits in transit. I want your record to get to you in the condition that it was when it left me.

For any records that come with printed inner sleeves, I will also provide an additional plain inner.

As a general rule, shipping will be discounted ie. I lose money on the costs of buying my packaging. I do not profit from this; please remember that my costs are not simply those shown on the stamp!

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
