BOB DYLAN - Eponymous Debut Album - "A NEW STAR ON COLUMBIA RECORDS" PROMOTIONAL ISSUE - Columbia CL 1779. Disc is borderline Mint Minus/Near Mint Plus; matrices are XLP-55619-1A and XLP-55620-1A; Sleeve is VG++ overall (no seam splits).

Original "first" pressing (see matrix numbers) from 1962 of Dylan’s debut album featuring the original "Six Eye" Columbia Logo Label Design, of which only approximately 5,000 were pressed before Columbia changed its label. This is a promotional issue that ended up at a radio station - tape on front and rear sleeves for stack identification note "Re-categorized to CM (Country Music)." Sleeve features Silver Promotional sticker saying "A New Star on Columbia Records." The white promotional sticker that Columbia placed on labels at the time, has been removed. See photo.

All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer. ALL DISCS ARE PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED ON A VPI RECORD CLEANING MACHINE. Discs are packaged separately from LP sleeve to protect against seam splitting. LP jackets are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and albums are shipped in LP-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap.
