Released in a laminated flip-back sleeve with rough orange labels.

*NOTE - although there are many different covers for this LP, they are extremely easy to understand. It is important to know this in 1 place, to gain the knowledge of which year your cover was made. In order:-

1) THIS RELEASE (1st issue) - Flipback UNCREDITED Laminated Mono cover. 1963 ONLY.
2) 1964 - Thicker Laminated Mono Cover + Paste-On Cover back. This lasted from early 1964 through to early 1965.
3) 1965 - Standard Flipback 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Laminated Mono Cover. This lasted from mid 1965 through to early 1967.
4) 1967 - Standard Flipback 'Dawson Rossiter' Laminated universal Cover. This lasted from 1967 into early 1968.
5) 1968-69 - NON Flipback 'E.J.Day' Laminated universal Cover.
6) In late 1969 a VERY few 'Upton' and 'Shorewood' Universal Laminated Covers were used to use up the last remaining Mono discs.

A. Vinyl Appearance:  VG+  :  The Vinyl  has lovely deep black glossy lustre. The are some fine hairline paper scuffs on both sides when seen under strong light. There is a light shallow score on Side 1 and several similar surface scores on Side 2, however, they are tested inaudible. The rough textured orange CBS labels are fresh with some faint spindle marks. Overall a nice example for its considerable age.     -  See Pics 

B. Random Sound Test   (Following Professional Deep Cleaning): EX : Our test sections played very well with nice open solid acoustics and crisp guitar. There is gentle static on run ins and quieter sections, but the record plays through really well even where there are shallow surface blemishes. A very nice desirable Collector's true 1st. - See Pics

A+B Combined Overall Grading: EX-

Cover/Inners: VG+/VG+: Cover is nice and flat  with glossy laminate to the front. There are a few minor edge creases and no scuffing or wear to the spine or closed edges.  A hint of vinyl ring impression. The reverse is a little discoloured with a small blemish upper middle. CBS poly lined inner is fully intact and devoid of damage or stains and is a little yellowed with age. A nice collectable copy all in all  - See Pics

We Grade your record carefully following the Record Collector Guide using many years of experience. However, grading is ultimately subjective and despite being very strict, we may not always please everyone. Please do not leave negative feedback if you are not fully satisfied. We offer a full No Quibble Return, Swap or Refund and we are here to help.

In order to assist everyone who buys and sells rare discs, Record Collector magazine has originated a set of standards for the condition of second-hand records, cassettes and CDs. Anyone buying or selling records through the magazine must use our conditions to state what amount of wear and tear the disc, its sleeve and/or contents have been subject to. The seven standard condition categories, and a description of what each one means, are listed below:

MINT (M) : The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
