BOB DYLAN -HERO BLUES- COLUMBIA ACETATE
Offered here is an American acetate of the Bob Dylan, "Hero Blues". This 10”, one sided, 45 r.p.m., mono record has
Columbia label and cut by Columbia Recording Studios in New York. On the blank side of the disc the 'ALLIED
New York USA' stamp can be seen. I don’t know if this version or mix is different from the commercially released version.
The disc (looks & plays ) is in VG condition. As with most acetates of this age, it has got a lot of surface marks.There are
no serious scratches, no skips or jumps. There is a ’click’ that takes 15 seconds.Usual background crackle throughout.
This disc (which has got typical smell of acetate) is not in perfect condition ,however ,it is a rare item.This acetate (similar to my other acetates on ebay) came from a collection that was a part of inheritance. I managed to buythis collection a few years ago.As I know the original owner worked for EMI,Germany.I have no further information of its origin.
