Description
BOB DYLAN – IF YOU GOTTA GO, GO NOW b/w TO RAMONA – CBS 2921 (Dutch 45 r.p.m.). Disc (Side 1 - If You Gotta Go) is Near Mint Minus; (Side 2 - Ramona) is VG+; Sleeve is Very Strong Near Mint; Label is Near Mint Plus.
“If You Gotta Go, Go Now,” an out-take from the album Bringing It All Back Home, was recorded on January 15, 1965 and released in August of 1967. This Very Rare Out-Take was released Only in Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg, and is one of the Rarest Commercial pressings ever issued under Bob Dylan’s name. This 45 r.p.m. single version is an Alternate Take to the version issued on the Bootleg Series Vol. 1-3 CD box and, unlike that version, this one features background vocals overdubbed by a group called The Poppies, an all-girl group from Jackson, Mississippi. Rumors abound that Dylan was not happy with this release, which might support why IT WAS NEVER ISSUED ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE WORLD.
All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer (unless factory sealed). Discs are packaged separately from sleeves to protect against seam splitting. Sleeves are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and both disc and sleeve are shipped in 7” EP/45-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap or hard cardboard.
I grade conservatively and by Goldmine standards.
