Description
- Bob Dylan released his ninth studio album "Nashville Skyline" in April 1969 on Columbia Records. It was a complete left turn into country music for Dylan but it was widely embraced by his fans with the album reaching No. 3 in the States and No. 1 on the U.K. charts. Hit singles from the record include "Lay Lady Lay," "I Threw It All Away," and "Tonight I'll Be Staying Here With You" but many fans consider Dylan's duet with Johnny Cash on "Girl From The North Country" as the highlight.
- This copy (KCS 9825) is from the first pressing and is in very good condition especially when considering it is over 50-years-old. The cover is intact but does show some edge and ring wear (and a name written on the Side 1 label) but I still grade it VG+. Please see the pictures. The disc test plays cleanly and is also VG+ which is as high as I go on vintage vinyl. It was mastered by Columbia's in-house Customatrix unit and has the original red "360 Sound Stereo" (with white arrows) on the disc disc. The dead wax on Side 1 is etched XSM139756-1B o A7.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Inner Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.

- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 51 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned and wiped with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
