Description
Artist – Bob Dylan
Title – Passed Over and Rolling Thunder
Sleeve: VG (White Jacket with insert – Title has been written on the jacket, but the insert can cover this as shown in Photo.
Vinyl: VG to VG minus (the reason for the negative is that there is some crackle in places, mainly between some songs, particularly on Side 3, but the music generally masks this and the sound reproduction is very good indeed).
Comments: TAKRL 2982-A to D See Bob’s Boots for further details. Note that the jump on Idiot Wind is on the tape from which the original Joaquin Antique Album was mastered and is not a record fault.
All records are from my collection that I have gathered over the years, plus recent purchases from various sources that I no longer wish to keep. I appreciate the value and the importance of the vinyl listening experience and have thus tried to grade these as honestly and the best that I can in accordance with the Record Collector magazine standard as follows:
Excellent (Ex)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG)
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable
Good (G)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
