This extremely rare British EP was extracted from LPs originally released on the Vanguard label in the U.S. Due to copyright conflicts involving Columbia, Vanguard and Fontana, Fontana was forced to recall them almost immediately. There were three of these EPs in all. This is Vol. III. Featuring Bob’s performance, with Pete Seeger, of “Ye Playboys & Playgirls” from July of 1963 at Newport, along with similarly dated performances by Joan Baez (Te Ador; Te Manha) and Pete Seeger (This Land Is Your Land), this was the only time Bob’s performance of his own composition, “Ye Playboys & Playgirls,” was ever recorded. All vinyl records from VinylKing46 (eBay’s ORIGINAL VINYLKING) are pre-cleaned and inserted into paper inner sleeves before mailing to Buyer (unless factory sealed). Discs are packaged separately from sleeves to protect against seam splitting. Sleeves are inserted into mylar outer sleeves and both disc and sleeve are shipped in 7” EP/45-specific boxes and packed with bubble wrap or hard cardboard.
