Description
- This is a first pressing copy of "Before The Flood," the landmark Bob Dylan / The Band double live album (AB-201) release from 1974 that is in VG+ condition. The album sleeve has some minor ring wear on the back panel and a crease on the inside gatefold. Both of the discs test play cleanly and are VG+. The dead wax on Side 1 is etched AB-201-A-10 RCAH and is stamped with KENDUN.
- Dylan and The Band recorded many of the shows on their 1974 tour together but nearly all of tracks on this album come from their February 13-14 shows at The Forum in Los Angeles.
- In addition to its original packaging, this album will come with a high quality Anti-Static Round Bottom Sleeve to hold the vinyl disc and a sturdy 3 mil. polyethylene Archival Quality Outer Sleeve.
- This vintage 12" vinyl album has been sitting upright on a shelf in climate controlled storage for the past 46 years. It has not been played in decades other than a quick test spin for this sale which found no skips or obvious flaws. Like all used records it should be cleaned with an anti-static brush to minimize the occasional pops that are part of playing vinyl albums. Buyers should note that this is a well-cared for but used record and it will have some minor imperfections.
