Description
"THE ORIGINAL BASEMENT TAPE" by Bob Dylan. This is the Record Store Day issue of 2015 which is 200 Gram Pink Vinyl. It is autographed and Hand Numbered by Garth Hudson. It is a Limited Edition of 1000. This is a Mono recording. "The British publishers' demonstration record with the original 14 songs as chosen and assembled in 1968 by BOB DYLAN & GARTH HUDSON faithfully restored from the original mono master tapes. Officially available for the first time in this Exclusive limited edition vinyl-only release." On the back of the paper sleeve wrapped around the record cover it says, "BOB DYLAN AND HIS BAND THE HAWKS: Rick Danko, Levon Helm, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel, Robbie Robertson." Paper also says, "All songs written and performed by Bob Dylan unless otherwise noted. Published by Dwarf Music. Produced, Recorded and Compiled by Garth Hudson in the Basement of Big Pink, Saugarties, New York (1967)."
This is a great Bob Dylan record and one exclusively available in this edition limited to 1000 records. Each record is hand numbered and autographed by Garth Hudson. It will be shipped as it was sold in a plastic record holder that is sealed but can be opened and resealed. I guess this was so that Garth Hudson could sign and number each copy. This copy has not been opened so I do not know the number of the record. I don't remember what it sold for in 2015 but I think it was around $100 and they sold out very quickly.
If you are a Bob Dylan fan, you might enjoy having this record in your collection.

I am not a dealer of any kind; just a retired teacher who is getting rid of some of the books and items that I no longer need.
